LEVEL is an airline brand operated by the Iberia Group, offering long-haul, low-cost flights from its base in Barcelona–El Prat Airport. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft and connects Spain with destinations in North and South America, as well as select cities in Europe and the Caribbean. As a relatively young carrier in the Iberia Group, LEVEL focuses on cost-efficient, point-to-point long-haul travel while leveraging the operational and commercial scale of its parent group.
Company History
LEVEL was established in March 2017 by the International Airlines Group (IAG) as a new long-haul, low-cost airline brand. Its first flights departed from Barcelona, and despite pausing operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, it resumed flights and has become part of the group's strategy to operate transatlantic routes from secondary hubs. Although it faced some restructuring in 2020, LEVEL continues to operate a growing network under IAG.
