About Lupa
Lupa is a Spanish supermarket chain headquartered in Santander, Cantabria. The company operates a network of supermarkets and hypermarkets primarily across northern Spain, with a strong presence in Cantabria, Castilla y León, and other nearby regions. As a regional retail player, Lupa focuses on grocery, fresh produce, and household goods, competing with larger national chains through local presence and customer service.
For international professionals, Lupa offers opportunities primarily in retail operations, including store management, logistics, and commercial roles. The company's work culture is rooted in the local Spanish retail sector, and while it is not a global brand, it provides stable employment in the regions where it operates. International hires may find roles in larger stores or in administrative functions, though Spanish language proficiency is typically essential for most positions.
