Supermarket Sales Assistant

Attend to and advise customers with a friendly and professional manner, manage the payment of products, ensure the correct restocking of merchandise, and maintain the order, cleanliness, and proper functioning of the supermarket.

• Attend to and guide customers throughout the purchasing process.
• Process customer payments using the cash register and other payment systems.
• Open and close the cash register, as well as perform the corresponding cash reconciliations.
• Restock products on shelves following rotation criteria (FIFO) and monitor expiration dates.
• Verify product labeling and prices.
• Keep shelves organized, clean, and properly stocked.
• Receive merchandise and assist with its unloading and storage.
• Monitor inventory and report any incidents or stock shortages.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and occupational risk prevention standards.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure efficient service.

• Secondary education (ESO) or equivalent qualifications.
• Previous experience in supermarkets or retail will be valued.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in operating cash registers.
• Mastery of Catalan and Spanish.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays according to the schedule.

Atendre i assessorar la clientela amb un tracte amable i professional, gestionar el cobrament dels productes, garantir la correcta reposició de mercaderies i mantenir l'ordre, la neteja i el bon funcionament del supermercat.

• Atendre i orientar la clientela durant el procés de compra.
• Realitzar el cobrament dels productes mitjançant caixa registradora i altres sistemes de pagament.
• Obrir i tancar la caixa, així com efectuar els arqueigs corresponents.
• Reposar productes als lineals seguint els criteris de rotació (FIFO) i control de caducitats.
• Verificar l'etiquetatge i els preus dels articles.
• Mantenir els lineals ordenats, nets i correctament abasteguts.
• Recepcionar mercaderies i col·laborar en la seva descàrrega i emmagatzematge.
• Controlar l'estoc i comunicar possibles incidències o ruptures.
• Vetllar pel compliment de les normes d'higiene, seguretat alimentària i prevenció de riscos laborals.
• Col·laborar amb la resta de l'equip per garantir un servei eficient.

• ESO o estudis equivalents.
• Es valorarà experiència prèvia en supermercats o comerç al detall.
• Coneixements bàsics d'informàtica i maneig de caixes registradores.
• Domini del català i del castellà.
• Disponibilitat per treballar en torns rotatius, caps de setmana i festius segons quadrants.
