Senior Cloud SRE Engineer

Technical requirements:

● More than 5 years of professional experience in Cloud and SRE roles, with solid hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

● GCP fundamentals: Experience in the design and deployment of GCP landing zones and organizations: resource hierarchy, IAM with the principle of least privilege, organization policies, and Shared VPC.

● Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid mastery of Terraform for the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure.

● CI/CD and automation: Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment.

● Extensive experience with GCP services: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud Armor.

● Production operations: Resolution of production incidents (5xx errors, latency, resource saturation, bot attacks), root cause analysis, and post-mortems.

● Security and compliance: Experience with Security Command Center (SCC) and with security and compliance audits (DORA, ENS).

● Experience in cloud migrations and cost optimization (FinOps, billing export to BigQuery).

● Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana.

● Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, Bash and Python scripting, Linux, and Git is valued; Secure access solutions (IAP, VPN); Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, as we work in multi-cloud environments.

Valuable requirements:

● Design and implementation of GCP landing zones and organizations following best practices.

● Terraform code and CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment.

● Reliable operation of client workloads in GKE, Compute Engine, and Cloud Run.

● Resolution of production incidents, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reports.

● Contribution to security and compliance audits (SCC, DORA, ENS).

● Cloud migrations and recommendations for cost optimization (FinOps).

● Monitoring dashboards and alerting systems with Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana.

● Improvement proposals for client environments.

● Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or a related field.

● Google Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud / SRE Engineer profile with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), who will join the team to provide services to clients in various sectors (retail, education, banking, media).

The role covers the complete cloud lifecycle: design and deployment of GCP fundamentals, infrastructure automation, production workload operation and incident resolution, as well as supporting clients in security and compliance audits, cloud migrations, cost optimization, and observability.

Key responsibilities in the position:

● Cloud fundamentals and Landing Zones: Design and deployment of GCP Landing Zones and organizations (folder hierarchy, IAM with the principle of least privilege, organization policies, shared VPC networks).

● Infrastructure automation: Infrastructure automation using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

● Platform operation: Operation of workloads in GKE, Compute Engine, and Cloud Run, and management of Cloud SQL databases, load balancers, and perimeter protection with Cloud Armor.

● Reliability and incident response: Production incident management (5xx errors, latency, resource saturation, bot attacks), including root cause analysis and post-mortems.

● Security, compliance, and costs: Participation in security and compliance audits (SCC, DORA, ENS), cloud migrations, and cost optimization (FinOps).

● Client service delivery: Direct work with clients from various sectors, proposing improvements with autonomy and good judgment.
