The role
Your mission will be to perform and control the operations of the packaging production process at the Production Center, in accordance with the instructions of the Packaging Manager and Local Supervisor, complying with the company's current procedures and undertaking all those functions assigned to you for the efficient operation and management of the area, in terms of quality, safety, cost, and respect for the environment.
What you'll do
- Know and apply the company's quality and food safety, environment, and risk prevention policy, as well as the procedures and instructions associated with your activity.
- Comply with the rules and instructions established regarding occupational risk prevention, ensuring your own safety and that of your colleagues.
- Manage the waste generated as a consequence of the development of your activity.
- Work procedures in line with ISO 9000, ISO 14001, EMAS, ISO 18001 OHSAS, and ISO 22000.
- Supply the packaging line with the necessary materials (labels, containers, and packaging).
- Keeping facilities and work tools in proper order and cleanliness.
- Handle the assigned equipment, supervising its correct operation and communicating and/or resolving any anomalies that occur in them.
- Perform first-level maintenance tasks and collaborate with Maintenance during their interventions on the machine.
- Any function derived from the Factory's Production Process.
What requirements must you meet?
- Degree, Bachelor's, Diploma, or FPII (related to the food industry, mechanics, electricity, electronics, robotics, automation, or similar)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Valid forklift licenses
- Work in rotating morning/afternoon/night shifts from Monday to Friday
- Previous experience in a similar position in the food and beverage industry is desirable
