The role

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant - Dry Goods to join the Purchasing team at our headquarters in Madrid. Below, we will tell you all the details of the role:

What you'll do

Your mission will be: to support the Category Manager and the Junior Category Manager in the local category and supplier strategy, managing administrative and operational tasks to guarantee service and adapt to market trends.

  • You will support the buyer in the implementation of the local Category and Supplier strategy, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • You will manage administrative tasks such as orders, item registration, rate updates, and database maintenance.
  • You will prepare stock, sales, and product availability reports to support procurement decisions and strategic analysis.
  • You will supervise category performance in pricing, assortment, product quality, and planning alongside the buyer.
  • You will coordinate the search and management of suppliers, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions.

At an organizational level

  • You will report to the Dry Product Category Manager (Confectionery & Snacks).
  • You will not have a team under your supervision.
