About the role

For our Architecture and Construction Management Area, we are looking to bring on board a Senior Demand Planner.

The Materials Demand Planning team's mission is to analyze and anticipate demand, as well as to ensure optimal stock levels that guarantee an excellent level of service for both physical stores (new openings, renovations, and replenishment of existing stores) and online stores.
 

What you'll do

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out demand planning for different material categories.  

  • Analyze and calculate the purchase proposal weekly, ensuring it aligns with forecasted demand and target inventory levels.

  • Manage orders to national and international suppliers, tracking delivery dates and warehouse receipts to ensure material availability.

  • Analyze consumption trends and inventory levels, identifying deviations, potential stockouts, and optimization opportunities.

  • Coordinate with different internal teams to manage the phase-in/phase-out of new references, as well as slow movers and obsolete products.

  • Maintain constant communication and coordination with the Purchasing department to manage new references, modifications, and assortment changes.

  • Coordinate with the Sales department to anticipate any relevant changes in forecasted demand and adapt planning accordingly.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in planning and inventory processes and tools.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an analytical, organized, and proactive person, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams and who enjoys a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and process optimization.

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.     

  • At least 3 years of experience in Demand Planning departments or other Supply Chain areas.   

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment with constant changes.  

  • Analytical skills, results orientation, and attention to detail.   

  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience in handling and analyzing large volumes of data and records.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, entrepreneurial attitude, and proactive profile.

  • Experience with SlimStock and SAP will be positively valued.
