Handbag Designer - Women

• Education in Fashion Design, Product Design, or similar.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in handbag design and development, preferably in fashion brands, retail, or fast fashion.

• Solid knowledge of materials, components, and handbag construction techniques: leather, synthetic leather, fabrics, hardware, trimmings, finishes, etc.

• Experience in integral product development, from concept and technical sheets to prototype and production.

• Sensitivity to trends, product, and fashion, combined with a clear commercial orientation.

• Ability to work with suppliers and different teams, following up on development and resolving issues in an agile manner.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and standard design tools.

• Advanced English, essential for working in an international environment.

• Creative, proactive, and organized person, with the ability to work in a team and thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.

We are looking for a Handbag Designer to join the Bolsos de Woman team, participating in the development of collections with a creative, commercial, and technical vision, from trend research to final product development.

• You will design and develop handbag collections, from conceptualization to the final product, ensuring an attractive, current proposal aligned with the MANGO DNA.

• You will research trends, markets, and competitors, identifying new opportunities in silhouettes, details, materials, colors, and finishes.

• You will develop technical sheets and product specifications, defining the construction, composition, materials, finishes, and details of each piece.

• You will work directly with suppliers, following up on the development of prototypes, samples, and counter-samples and ensuring the correct interpretation and execution of your designs.

• You will participate in product reviews and testing, proposing adjustments and improvements to guarantee the balance between design, functionality, quality, and cost.

• You will collaborate closely with Buying, Quality, and other teams involved in development, providing design criteria and technical knowledge throughout the entire process.

• You will provide a creative and commercial vision, understanding the needs of the customer and the keys to the fast fashion market to create relevant and competitive products.
