At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company dedicated to the design, manufacture, and assembly of metal parts and structures in the search for a PURCHASING MANAGER for its branch located in Vallès Oriental.

What will your mission be in the company?

What you'll do

• Analyze purchasing needs and request quotes.

• Identify potential suppliers, as well as maintain the supplier portfolio and/or search for new suppliers.

• Look for savings opportunities, cost optimization, and price negotiation.

• Place orders and follow up on them, coordinating stock management with the warehouse.

• Prepare purchasing reports (KPIs).

• Collaborate with other departments for the start of projects and their continuity.

• Manage the company's subcontractors (telephony, cleaning, etc.).

• Supervise transport routes and review outgoing delivery notes in the event of incidents.

• Coordinate a team of 11 people.

What we're looking for

What do we need from you?

• You have at least 5 years of experience performing similar tasks as a Purchasing Manager.

• You hold a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Higher Vocational Training (CFGS), and/or similar.

• You are a person with a proactive attitude, initiative, organized, methodical and autonomous, detail-oriented, analytical, meticulous, with communication skills and a focus on people and results, a willingness to learn, as well as being responsible and committed to the company's objectives.
