Head of HSE Department

At Paul Marlex, we are selecting a Head of the HSE Department for a large company in Biscay.

Your mission will be to lead the Health and Safety strategy, aligning it with the company's objectives and promoting a preventive culture across all areas of the group. To do so, you will lead a team with the aim of:

-Defining and driving the corporate Health and Safety strategy, adapting it to the operational needs of each business unit.

-Ensuring compliance with current regulations on Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP).

-Supervising and coordinating risk assessments, action protocols, and internal and external audits.

-Actively participating in Health and Safety Committees, monitoring action plans and promoting continuous improvement.

-Ensuring the proper implementation and follow-up of training actions in emergency plans, evacuation, and first aid.

-Leading the investigation and management of incidents and accidents, defining and driving corrective and preventive actions.

-Managing the corporate system of Health and Safety indicators and reporting (KPIs, accident rates, and monitoring by workplace).

-Coordinating the relationship with the External Prevention Service and the mutual insurance company, ensuring regulatory compliance, resource optimization, and document control.

-Promoting and delivering training actions and awareness campaigns aimed at developing a preventive culture within the organization.

We are thinking of a person with at least 7 years of experience in a management position in the HSE area in an industrial environment, with experience in people management. A leader with availability for national travel and a desire to embark on this new project.

Desde Paul Marlex estamos seleccionando un/a Responsable de Dpto. de PRL para empresa grande en Vizcaya.

Tu misión consistirá en liderar la estrategia de Seguridad y Salud, alineándola con los objetivos de la empresa e impulsando una cultura preventiva en todas las áreas del grupo. Para ello liderarás un equipo con el objetivo de:

-Definir e impulsar la estrategia corporativa de Seguridad y Salud, adaptándola a las necesidades operativas de cada unidad de negocio.

-Garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL).

-Supervisar y coordinar las evaluaciones de riesgos, protocolos de actuación y auditorías internas y externas.

-Participar activamente en los Comités de Seguridad y Salud, realizando seguimiento de los planes de acción y promoviendo la mejora continua.

-Asegurar la correcta implantación y seguimiento de las acciones formativas en planes de emergencia, evacuación y primeros auxilios.

-Liderar la investigación y gestión de incidentes, accidentes, definiendo e impulsando acciones correctivas y preventivas.

-Gestionar el sistema corporativo de indicadores y reporting de Seguridad y Salud (KPIs, índices de siniestralidad y seguimiento por centro de trabajo).

-Coordinar la relación con el Servicio de Prevención Ajeno y la mutua, garantizando el cumplimiento normativo, la optimización de recursos y el control documental.

-Promover e impartir acciones formativas y campañas de sensibilización orientadas al desarrollo de una cultura preventiva en la organización.

Pensamos en una persona con experiencia de al menos 7 años en puesto de responsabilidad en el área de PRL en entorno industrial, con experiencia en gestión de personas. Persona líder con disponibilidad para viajes nacionales y ganas de embarcarse en este nuevo proyecto.
