The role

An important company in the catering sector is looking for an Accounting Director based in Madrid (northeast). The ideal candidate will have between 8 - 10 years of experience as an Accounting Manager. Previous experience within the catering sector is highly valued. A high level of English is essential. Experience managing teams is essential. Working system: 1 day of teleworking.

Experience in team management is essential
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position.

What you'll do

Reporting to the CFO, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions;

Supervise accounting under PGC in Spain and monthly closings
Prepare financial statements and consolidation
Knowledge of tax matters (VAT, CIT, IRPF), and maintaining relationships with tax advisors
Coordinate external audits and preparation of annual accounts
Consolidate information from the operation of owned and franchised restaurants (sales, costs, inventories)
Supervise financial reporting of franchisees (royalties, sales, and others)
Standardize accounting processes between brands and units
Lead the accounting team
