What you'll do

  • Perform job preparation (interpretation of blueprints, preparation of parts, selection of welding type and process, welding procedure)
  • Execute welding in different positions, using the various necessary welding processes, properly and autonomously carrying out the correct implementation of the welding procedures applicable in each case.
  • Execute manual oxy-fuel cutting and plasma cutting by adjusting parameters, and controlling temperatures, penetration, visual inspection, and in general all variables of the welding procedure.
  • Execute welding in the different indicated positions, verifying the temperature between passes and the state of each bead.
  • Carry out the final inspection of the weld bead according to acceptance criteria.
  • Inspect and maintain welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental regulations applicable to the work performed.
