Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks)

Due to the nature of the position and the visits to the workshop and site, we preferably seek people residing in Manresa, Bages, or nearby towns, ideally with an approximate commute of less than 30 minutes.

🕗 Monday to Thursday: from 8:00 to 17:00, with 1 hour for lunch.

☀️ Friday and days before holidays: from 7:00 to 15:00.

The economic proposal will be established based on your experience, technical knowledge, and level of autonomy.

The company is open to evaluating profiles ranging from those with less experience but a very good technical base to professionals with greater experience, adapting the proposal to the value and knowledge that each candidate can bring.

At Nortempo Selección we are looking to incorporate a Mechanical Engineer into the technical team of an industrial engineering firm.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design and development of mechanical equipment, mainly using SolidWorks.

• Preparation of general, construction, and manufacturing drawings.

• Design and modification of mechanical assemblies and components.

• Carrying out site visits for checks and taking measurements.

• Preparation and assessment of quotes.

• Monitoring the manufacturing of equipment in the workshop.

• Direct coordination with the workshop, installers, and the rest of the technical team.

• Monitoring and support of on-site assemblies.

• Resolution of incidents and technical needs linked to each project.

• Transversal participation in the different phases of the project, from design to installation.

You will join a technical team where you will have a very complete vision of the projects.

You will be able to design equipment using SolidWorks, work in direct contact with manufacturing, carry out technical visits, take measurements on-site, and participate in resolving real needs during execution.

The company designs and manufactures its own equipment and also carries out its installation, so there is a direct connection between engineering, workshop, and site.

The position arises initially to cover maternity leave, with a need to join as soon as possible. However, there is possibility of continuity and subsequent stable incorporation depending on adaptation, evolution within the team, and the company's needs.

🎯 What do we need from you?

There is one especially important requirement for this position:

✅ Professional mastery of SolidWorks.

Additionally, we are looking for:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience using SolidWorks in professional environments.

Knowledge and handling of AutoCAD.

Ability to interpret and prepare mechanical and construction drawings.

Availability to perform occasional site visits during working hours.

Driver's license.

We would love to meet profiles with experience in mechanical design, manufacturing of machinery or industrial equipment, metal structures, industrial installations, or similar environments.

But we are not only looking for senior profiles: we are open to different levels of experience if you provide a good technical base, progressive autonomy, and real mastery of SolidWorks.
