The role

At Nortempo Recruitment, we are selecting a Maintenance and Machinery Preparation Technician to join a consolidated company in the industrial machinery sector, located in Sidamón (Lleida).

We are looking for a practical, active, and versatile person, with knowledge of mechanics, electricity, or electronics, who enjoys working in a workshop and industrial machinery environment.

Additionally, the onboarding will include a support period of several months alongside the person currently holding the position who will soon retire, thus facilitating the progressive learning of all functions.

What you'll do

Perform general maintenance of the warehouse facilities: small repairs, lighting, basic maintenance, order, and cleanliness.
Support the loading and unloading of machinery from trucks.
Inspect new machinery upon arrival and check that it corresponds with the order and delivery note.
Verify components, accessories, and requested modifications.
Inspect the condition of second-hand machinery.
Prepare, inspect, and fill lead-acid batteries; this part will be taught directly at the company.
Resolve small day-to-day technical incidents.
