The role

What you'll do

This role is part of a strategic initiative in the pharmaceutical diagnostics sector, focused on delivering IT solutions to support platforms that help diagnose and monitor a range of diseases. The project involves building, implementing, and maintaining digital systems that integrate clinical data, streamline diagnostic processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives within the diagnostics sector. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery, alignment with strategic objectives, and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideal for someone with experience managing IT projects in regulated environments, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to translate technical details into actionable plans.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage resource allocation effectively.
  • Identify risks and issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance processes.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Report project status, progress, and key metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog prioritization, where applicable

Hiring process

We like to keep things simple and transparent:

  1. HR Interview - A friendly conversation to understand your background and career aspirations.
  2. Practical Exercise - A short case to assess your project management and organizational skills, which you'll present in the next stage.
  3. Technical Interview - Meet the team and discuss the vision and your potential role in it.

In our screening process, we prioritize verifiable signals of excellence, regardless of seniority. There are no preferential paths beyond what your application demonstrates, and we evaluate every candidate through the same process. Some people hold back because they feel they lack experience or have an "imperfect" CV. If you like the role and believe you could excel over time, don't self-reject. All applications go through our careers page, which is the only way to be considered. If you pass our screening, you'll be asked to complete one or more tests.
