Planasa

Planasa (legal name Plantas de Navarra SA) is a global agri-food company specializing in breeding the next generations of berry varieties — blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries — with long-standing experience in garlic, asparagus and avocado. It develops new varieties through a mix of traditional breeding and modern technology and supplies them to growers via its nursery operations, producing over 1,000 million plants each year. The company reports more than 4,000 employees, a presence in over 25 countries, 7 R&D centres and more than 225 registered varieties.

Planasa has a substantial footprint in Spain, with listed sites in Valtierra, Cartaya, Fuente el Olmo, Sariñena and Toro. Its current Spanish openings are concentrated in agricultural field and nursery operations — including agricultural labourers, tractor drivers and maintenance specialists in the Toro (Zamora) and Fuente el Olmo (Segovia) areas — alongside technical roles in HR and occupational risk prevention, making it a relevant employer for international professionals seeking hands-on roles in Spain's agricultural sector.
