Interior Design Systems Engineer

We are looking for an Interior Design Systems Engineer with at least 3 years of experience (4 to 5 years preferred) in the development, integration, and technical management of subsystems.

This role is primarily focused on interface management, requirements integration, and technical follow-up with suppliers. We are not looking for a purely aesthetic/artistic design profile, but rather a professional capable of ensuring that all interior train elements (seats, paneling, bathroom modules, luggage racks, lighting, etc.) fit perfectly into the mechanical and electrical structure and comply with vehicle regulations.

Main Mission:

Develop, define, and integrate the train's interior subsystems, ensuring their proper technical justification, compliance with requirements (spatial, regulatory, and functional), and final validation, working in coordination with key suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements Management and Traceability:

• Translate customer and project needs into technical specifications for the interior subsystems.
• Manage and maintain requirements traceability in DOORS, ensuring their follow-up and validation with both the end customer and suppliers.

Supplier Technical Management and Follow-up:

• Issue technical specifications and evaluate bids from specialized suppliers (seats, bathrooms, panels, etc.).
• Carry out continuous technical follow-up of the supplier, ensuring strict compliance with scope, costs, deadlines, and Talgo quality standards.

Interface Management and Spatial/Functional Integration ("Packaging"):

• Coordinate the physical and functional integration of the subsystem with the rest of the train architecture (structures, chassis, electrical wiring, HVAC).
• Ensure compatibility and integration without interferences during assembly.

Regulatory Compliance, Testing, and Certification:

• Prepare and review the technical documentation that justifies the design and demonstrates compliance with industry regulations (e.g., fire and smoke resistance EN 45545, PRM/Reduced Mobility regulations, weights, etc.).
• Define and collaborate on the testing, verification, and integration protocols for the subsystems until their validation and integration into the train.

Risk Management and Liaison:

• Identify and control subsystem risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation measures.
• Act as the main technical point of contact with the customer and suppliers.

Education: Technical Engineering degree or Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, or similar).

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles; 4–5 years of experience in systems/interiors integration (railway, automotive, aerospace, or other industrial sectors with modular management) is highly valued.

Essential Tools:

• DOORS (requirements management).
• NX and Teamcenter (CAD/PLM environment for reviewing models and interfaces).

Desirable Tools / Knowledge:

• SAP proficiency.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and integration software to ensure the electrical and functional wiring of the subsystem.

Key Experience: Proven expertise in the technical management and follow-up of component/subsystem suppliers.

Languages: Fluent English (minimum B2 / technical C1).

Buscamos un/a Ingeniero/a de Sistemas de Interiorismo con al menos 3 años de experiencia (deseable entre 4 y 5 años) en desarrollo, integración y gestión técnica de subsistemas.

Se trata de un rol eminentemente enfocado a la gestión de interfaces, integración de requisitos y seguimiento técnico de proveedores. No se busca un perfil de diseño estético/artístico puro, sino un profesional capaz de asegurar que todos los elementos interiores del tren (asientos, revestimientos, módulos de baño, portaequipajes, iluminación, etc.) encajen perfectamente en la estructura mecánica, eléctrica y cumplan la normativa del vehículo.

Misión Principal:

Desarrollar, definir e integrar los subsistemas de interiorismo del tren, asegurando su correcta justificación técnica, el cumplimiento de requisitos (espaciales, normativos y funcionales) y su validación final, trabajando de forma coordinada con proveedores clave y equipos multidisciplinares de ingeniería.

Gestión de Requisitos y Trazabilidad:

• Traducir las necesidades del cliente y del proyecto en especificaciones técnicas para los subsistemas de interiorismo.
• Gestionar y mantener la trazabilidad de requisitos en DOORS, asegurando su seguimiento y validación tanto con el cliente final como con proveedores.

Gestión y Seguimiento Técnico de Proveedores:

• Lanzar especificaciones técnicas y evaluar las ofertas de proveedores especializados (asientos, baños, paneles, etc.).
• Realizar el seguimiento técnico continuo del proveedor asegurando el cumplimiento estricto en alcance, costes, plazos y calidad Talgo.

Gestión de Interfaces e Integración Espacial y Funcional ("Packaging"):

• Coordinar la integración física y funcional del subsistema con el resto de la arquitectura del tren (estructuras, chasis, cableado eléctrico, climatización/HVAC).
• Garantizar la compatibilidad e integración sin interferencias en el montaje.

Cumplimiento Normativo, Pruebas y Certificación:

• Elaborar y revisar la documentación técnica que justifica el diseño y demuestra el cumplimiento de normativas del sector (ej. resistencia al fuego y humos EN 45545, normativa PMR/Movilidad Reducida, pesos, etc.).
• Definir y colaborar en los protocolos de prueba, verificación e integración de los subsistemas hasta su validación e integración en tren.

Gestión de Riesgos e Interlocución:

• Identificar y controlar riesgos y oportunidades del subsistema, proponiendo medidas de mitigación.
• Actuar como el interlocutor técnico de referencia ante el cliente y los suministradores

Formación: Ingeniería Técnica o Grado/Máster en Ingeniería (Industrial, Mecánica, Materiales o similar).

Experiencia: Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en funciones similares; muy valorable a partir de 4 - 5 años de experiencia en integración de sistemas/interiores (ferroviario, automoción, aeronáutica u otros sectores industriales con gestión modular).

Herramientas IMPRESCINDIBLES:

• DOORS (gestión de requisitos).
• NX y Teamcenter (entorno CAD/PLM para revisión de modelos e interfaces).

Herramientas / Conocimientos Deseables:

• Manejo de SAP.
• Nociones de esquemas eléctricos y software de integración para asegurar el conexionado eléctrico y funcional del subsistema.

Experiencia Clave: Dominio demostrado en la gestión y seguimiento técnico de proveedores de componentes/subsistemas.

Idiomas: Inglés fluido (mínimo B2 / C1 técnico).
