Special Processes Technologist - Chemical Processes

Would you like to apply your chemical knowledge in a cutting-edge technological environment, linked to the manufacture and repair of critical aeronautical components? At ITP Aero we are looking for a person who wants to participate in the development, validation and industrialization of chemical processes within a demanding, international and highly specialized context in our Zamudio, Bizkaia team.

You will join the Manufacturing and Repair Technologies team, where you will play a key role in the management, development, control, and improvement of chemical processes applied to aeronautical components. The position combines technical knowledge, industrial vision, production support, and participation in improvement and innovation projects, with direct interaction with different areas of the ITP Aero Group and the supply chain.

• Participation in the definition, validation, and industrialization of chemical processes and manufacturing technologies.
• Interaction with multidisciplinary production, quality, engineering, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
• Exposure to audits, customer requirements, aeronautical standards, and accreditation bodies such as NADCAP.

• Define, validate, and approve chemical processes applied to aeronautical manufacturing and repair.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical support to production, quality, engineering, purchasing, and the supply chain across the ITP Aero Group.
• Technically manage suppliers and support their development in special processes.
• Analyze incidents and non-conformities, leading root cause analysis and improvement actions.
• Participate in and lead internal, customer, supply chain, and accreditation body audits.
• Contribute to the definition of new facilities, technology industrialization, and process optimization.
• Prepare and maintain specifications, procedures, and work instructions.

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Sciences.
• 2 or 3 years of experience in industrial chemical processes, process control, or manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of surface treatments, coatings, special processes, or regulated environments.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems in a structured manner, and work with continuous improvement tools.
• Knowledge of aeronautical requirements, NADCAP, and supply chain technical management will be valued.
• High level of English.
