About the role

Are you passionate about the industrial sector and looking for a stable project where your work has a real global impact? Does the idea of being part of a company that designs, manufactures, and exports 95% of its equipment to more than 70 countries, being the only manufacturer of this type of machinery in Spain, motivate you?

If you have a solid technical background, a customer-oriented approach, and a desire to grow professionally, you will love this challenge.

What you'll do

In this position, your main mission will be to boost and consolidate the company's commercial presence in the assigned area, becoming a trusted advisor for companies of all sizes within the carpentry sector (from SMEs to large corporations).

In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for: Prospecting and acquiring new clients and business opportunities in the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

Maintaining and developing solid, long-lasting commercial relationships with existing clients. Conducting sales visits, combining the closeness of in-person meetings with the agility of virtual ones.

Identifying the technical and commercial needs of each client to offer the most suitable solution.

Preparing and continuously following up on commercial quotations.

Collaborating closely with the technical team in preparing proposals and customized solutions.

Participating in major trade fairs, industry events, and product presentations (including attending a global trade fair every 2 years and a week-long exhibition in Germany).

Conducting basic market research and continuous analysis of the competition.

Supporting the negotiation and closing of commercial deals.

How you'll work

How are business trips managed?

You will travel approximately 50% of your time (an average of 2 weeks per month) within Spain and Portugal. The organization is designed for your work-life balance: for example, you might spend one week traveling (e.g., in Madrid) and the following full week at the head office in Caldes de Montbui managing quotations and follow-ups. While traveling, flexibility is required to adapt to client schedules.

Is this an export-oriented role?

Initially, the assigned territory is Spain and Portugal. However, given that the company exports the vast majority of its production, if you have a strong profile and language skills, there is a real possibility of expanding your territory to take on export responsibilities.

An intensive office schedule from 07:00 to 15:00 when you are at the head office, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons.

Requirements

What will help you succeed in this role?

We are looking for professionals who connect with the industrial sector. To fit in successfully, we will positively value the following:

Technical education: Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training (Grado Medio, FP Superior) or technical education in areas such as Mechanics, Electromechanics, Automation, and Robotics, or a degree in Business or Marketing.

Experience: Extensive prior experience is not essential. We will highly value up to 2 years of experience in industrial environments or machinery sales, or direct contact with the day-to-day operations of a factory or workshop (so that concepts like "production process machinery" are familiar to you).

Technical skills: Proficiency in digital solutions, mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, and experience managing CRM platforms.

Languages: English proficiency will be considered a valuable asset for your professional development within the company.

Your skills: Customer focus and service, strong communication and interpersonal skills, autonomy, proactivity, perseverance, and above all, a team spirit.
