Job description

What you'll do

Tasks

  • Carry out corrective and/or preventive maintenance of warehouse and mobile machinery autonomously, following the guidelines of your supervisor. Also provide support to the maintenance department of the company you belong to at specific times, ensuring proper intervention and within the assigned budget. (Vertical Balers, Static Compactors, Self-Compactors, Conveyors, Continuous Balers).

  • Fault detection and replacement of damaged components.

  • Installation, assembly, and customer training for industrial machinery.

  • Minimize downtime due to breakdowns, thereby maximizing machine availability.

  • Monitor the needs for required materials, parts, or spare parts. - Keep the stock of spare parts and tools in the workshop and van inventoried and organized.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Equality, and Environmental policies.

  • Monitor suppliers and collaborate/coordinate with external companies during maintenance interventions at the plant.

  • Coordinate with the Production department on plant shutdowns for corrective/preventive maintenance and collaborate in identifying potential improvements.

  • Ensure that good practices and procedures are followed regarding safety and occupational risk prevention.

  • Training in electromechanical maintenance, with at least 2 years of experience in tasks similar to those described.

  • Work experience: Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in Facilities / Construction, Equipment Maintenance.

  • Valid driver's license
