The role
At SOCOTEC Spain, we are a multidisciplinary engineering team that develops innovative and sustainable technical solutions for the entire life cycle of infrastructure, contributing to building a safer and more sustainable world.
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Water and Contaminated Soils Technician to reinforce our technical team in Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona).
The selected person will participate in environmental research and characterization projects, combining technical office work with fieldwork, which allows for more complete technical development than in positions focused solely on field campaigns.
Projects are primarily developed in Catalonia, with occasional travel at a national level.
What you'll do
Organization and planning of environmental research campaigns.
Execution and supervision of soil and groundwater sampling campaigns.
Drafting of technical environmental research and characterization reports.
Performance of environmental risk assessments.
Technical liaison with clients and participation in technical meetings.
Site visits and monitoring of fieldwork.
Experience
4-5 years of experience in contaminated soils and water.

Experience in:
Environmental research
Sampling campaigns
Risk assessment
Tools / Knowledge
Experience in RBCA, especially with RISC software.

Valuable:
AutoCAD
GIS
Knowledge of hydraulic testing
Other requirements
Driving license
Availability for travel to sites
