What you'll do

  • Facilitation and group creation: formation of groups according to interests and affinities, fostering relational bonds and the active participation of users.

  • Design and execution of activities: planning and development of dynamics, online and in-person activities, including intergenerational proposals.

  • Motivation and community participation: driving communication, dynamism, and creativity to activate user involvement and promote active and healthy aging.

  • Coordination and networking: collaboration with municipal facilities, activity organizers, and city services to expand participation opportunities.

  • Management and monitoring of groups: supervision of the proper functioning of spaces (including digital platforms), fostering group autonomy and the dissemination of municipal services.

How you'll work

  • 6-month temporary vacancy.

  • Full-time at 40 h/week.

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:30 and Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Sporadic weekends for the celebration of fairs.

  • Salary: €1,694.67 gross monthly (12 payments).

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Essential Degree/Diploma in Social Education, Social Work, Pedagogy, or Psychology.

  • Essential to have the C1 Catalan certificate.

  • Experience as a facilitator with older people.

  • Passion for working with the older people collective.

  • Proactivity, communication skills and teamwork.

Nice to have

  • Valuable knowledge of the Social Services System of Catalonia, the new Social Services Law, and the promotion of initiatives that encourage the participation of older people and the defense of their rights.

  • Holding a disability certificate of 33% or more will be valued.
