About the role

You will join the Maintenance and After-Sales Engineering area, located in Majadahonda, Madrid, forming part of a highly specialized team in technical support for trains in commercial service.
Your mission will be to ensure the reliability and availability of onboard railway signaling systems, providing technical support to maintenance bases and leading the investigation and resolution of incidents to drive continuous product improvement.

What you'll do


And to do so, you will carry out functions such as:

  • Providing technical support to the various national and international maintenance bases in resolving incidents and failures related to onboard signaling systems and electronic equipment.
  • Leading root cause analysis of incidents, coordinating the necessary actions with the various company departments to identify problems and define sustainable solutions.
  • Defining and justifying corrective actions and design improvements, preparing the necessary technical documentation for internal approval, by the customer, and by railway authorities.
  • Preparing technical reports, maintenance procedures, diagnostic protocols, and documentation associated with improving system reliability.
  • Driving reliability improvement plans, participating in the technical training of maintenance teams, and transferring lessons learned to improve future developments.

What we are looking for in you

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
  • Experience in maintenance, integration, or design of electrical/electronic systems, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Knowledge or experience in railway signaling systems such as ERTMS Level 1 and 2, onboard ETCS, ASFA Digital, LZB, or train protection systems.
  • Experience in incident analysis, event interpretation, and diagnostic traces, as well as in railway maintenance environments. Experience in RAMS analysis and reliability studies.
  • Advanced level of English and availability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Availability for occasional expatriation depending on project needs.
