About the role

To support the group's growth and tackle its upcoming challenges, TARMAC Aerosave is looking for a Health and Safety Technician, with a permanent contract, for our Teruel site

The Health and Safety Technician is responsible for assessing workplace risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, and coordinating preventive measures. Additionally, they train workers and help maintain a safe working environment.

What you'll do

  • Creation and updating of procedures: drafting work instructions and procedures, conducting on-site studies of tasks to minimize risks, and proposing control and risk reduction measures.

  • Supervision and preventive control: monitoring compliance with implemented safety methods, carrying out checks on working conditions, managing work permits and machinery authorizations, and supporting the updating of risk assessments and preventive planning.

  • Document management and coordination: managing the HSE documentation, handling the information and training provided to workers, and maintaining the document record.

  • Health surveillance and medical assistance: managing medical examination appointments, coordinating with the external prevention service for medical assistance in the event of incidents and preventive actions, and managing PPE, work clothing, and first aid kits.

  • Investigation and training: preparing accident investigation reports with the external prevention service, identifying training needs, managing mandatory and development training, coordinating welcome information, and supporting other HSE department tasks.
