About the role

Aeronautical Maintenance Technician Helper B2, with a permanent contract, for our Teruel site

The Aeronautical Maintenance Technician Helper B2 (Avionics) supports technicians in tasks involving the installation, control, and maintenance of aircraft electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, following blueprints, aeronautical regulations, and manufacturer documentation. He/she participates in EASA/FAA Part 145 operations, providing support and basic technical advice.

What you'll do

The upcoming challenges to take on upon joining our company include:

  • Operational supervision of aircraft: Participate as support in taxiing, flight, and fault location operations, assisting technicians in carrying out maintenance tests and repairs. Collaborate in the basic verification of the operation of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems during supervision activities, always under the direction of qualified personnel.

  • Support for maintenance and assembly operations: Intervene as an assistant in mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and assembly tasks, following manufacturer documentation and the instructions of the responsible technician. Help inspect the condition of parts, identify components to be installed, and prepare and apply the corresponding procedures.

  • Reading manuals and technical compliance: Perform basic reading and interpretation of industrial manuals to support technicians in onboard tasks. Collaborate in checking the compliance of parts and equipment with technical and regulatory requirements, always under direct supervision.

  • Traceability, communication, and report preparation: Record and certify the basic operations assigned in SAP, report any anomalies or difficulties to the N+1, and strictly apply the instructions received. 

  • Quality, safety, and continuous improvement: Respect safety instructions, use protective equipment, promote workplace safety, and participate in continuous improvement processes.

Job requirements

A Higher Degree in Aeronautical Maintenance of electronic and avionic systems in aircraft is required.

A Higher Degree in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electrical Installations, Machinery Electromechanics, or equivalent technical training that provides a solid foundation in electrical and mechanical systems will be valued.

A basic level of English will be necessary to interpret technical documentation, with an advanced level being especially valued to facilitate communication in international environments.

We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude, the ability to organize their work effectively, initiative to anticipate operational needs, and a clear orientation toward teamwork, demonstrating responsibility, adaptability, and commitment to technical and safety standards.
