Our local TOMRA office is located in Valencia, and we are always looking for motivated people who want to be part of our organization. We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician residing in Madrid or its surroundings.

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated person to deliver excellent customer service, participating in commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair activities, primarily in Spain and Portugal.

What you'll do

  • Perform field technical service activities, including installation, commissioning, operation, testing, optimization, maintenance, and repair of TOMRA equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical adjustments and configurations.
  • Train customers in the use and maintenance of TOMRA systems.
  • Provide technical support and advice to help customers maximize the performance of their operations and reduce food waste.
  • Prepare accurate service reports and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Work with innovative, industry-leading technology and act as an ambassador for TOMRA.
  • Travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within Spain, with occasional international travel when necessary.

Requirements

  • Technical training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or customer technical support.
  • Demonstrable experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of analog and digital circuits, electrical power systems, and PLCs. Essential.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
  • Good knowledge of computing, networks, and PC equipment configuration.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and a good level of English (minimum B2). Essential.
