About the role

Hey there!!

If you're looking for a chill role… this isn't it. If you're looking to build something big and make your mark… keep reading.

You're someone who gives their all, who believes anything is possible, and who enjoys putting in the effort as a team as much as achieving results alongside it.

If these lines reflect your past, your present, and your near future — this is your place, and this is your moment.

This isn't a typical operations role, nor an analyst who sends reports over Slack, nor a "founders' assistant." It's the role for the person who, when something gets stuck, steps in, unsticks it, and steps out. No drama, no escalating fifteen levels, no waiting for Thursday's meeting.

And for that, you need to be willing to work side by side with two founders: Ramiro and me, Pablo.

🤔 Wait, what is a Founder Associate?

Each of our business lines has its own weekly, monthly, and quarterly commitments — and as in any fast-growing startup, not everything gets done on its own. A dashboard that's missing, a metric that's off track, a process that starts to stumble just when everything needs to move fastest.

That's where you come in: not to give orders from the outside, but to get in there and solve it firsthand. No playbooks — one week you build a dashboard, the next you unblock a sales process, the next you run a marketing experiment.

Over time, you stop reacting and start anticipating, until you become the person any Business Leader turns to when something gets stuck. And that role becomes your own: a division, an area, a new bet.

You're the person who learns the entire business and acts as an extension of the founders in everything that matters. And all your ideas will have real impact.

What we're looking for

🛠️ This is non-negotiable

  • 1–4 years of professional experience — enough mileage to be autonomous, enough hunger to get your hands dirty.

  • Startups or high-growth environments — you already know what it's like when priorities change from one day to the next.

  • You can work with code using AI as support (Claude Code, Cursor…) — you build tools, automations, and analyses without depending on the tech team.

  • Sharp logical and analytical reasoning.

  • You solve problems with no predefined solution — you'll prove this with a hands-on case study in the process, not just by talking about it.

What you'll get

🎁 What we offer you

  • 👁️ Real visibility into the entire business

  • 🚀 Brutally accelerated learning

  • 💰 Salary range 40k

  • 🏖️ 28 vacation days

  • 🏥 Private health insurance and Payflow

  • 💪 Wellhub (Gympass)

  • 📍 Offices in Madrid (Cuzco)

  • 📈 Profitable and growing company

About the company & team

🚀 About Ucademy

We were born in 2021 with an Amazon whiteboard and an Instagram live. Literally. Since then we've gone from 6 to 22 million euros — and it wasn't easy, there were tough moments that made us doubt everything. We came out stronger, more united, and with a clear idea: to become the best online education company in the world.

Today we're more than 170 people — an entire jungle moving in the same direction, helping thousands of students across three universes that support each other: Polaris (civil service exams), Atlas (University Access) and Explora FP. And as in any jungle, there are our own rules: we go all in, we're wild, and we act as a pack.

And here's the honest part: on this path of growing so fast, Ramiro and I are struggling to scale as founders. There's too much to handle and too little time. That's why we're looking for you — someone who finds strategic and complex problems motivating rather than overwhelming.

Hiring process

📩 How to apply?

No generic cover letters. We want a 5 to 10 minute video where you tell us:

  • Which startup(s) you've worked at and what you did there.

  • The most complex problem you've solved without anyone asking you to — and how you thought through solving it.

  • An example of how you rely on code (or AI to write it) to build something — a tool, an automation, an analysis.

  • The real impact you've had at your last two companies.

That tells us more than any CV.

🧬 The profile that fits

You've probably already been in an environment where no one tells you exactly what to do, and you like that — it doesn't paralyze you.

At minimum, we expect you to have spent 2 years building things from scratch at a startup.

  • You learn ridiculously fast — you dive into an area you didn't know (sales, product, academics, whatever) and within weeks you know more than most.

  • You have resourcefulness, not a manual — when the obvious path is blocked, you find the one no one had seen.

  • You act before being asked — you don't say "this happened, what do I do?" You say "this happened, I already fixed it, let me fill you in."

  • You produce a lot with little noise — you move fast, but without leaving a trail of loose ends behind.

  • You give it your all when it counts — quarter closes, launches, enrollment peaks: that's where you can tell who can hang.

  • You deliver on what you promise, no matter what — and you make others deliver on theirs too.

  • You don't let go of a problem until it's solved — the word "impossible" doesn't last long with you.
