Android Developer

• Education: Higher vocational training / university degree related to the position and duties.

• Experience: 4 years in similar positions. 

• Languages: Advanced English, especially reading comprehension.

• Attitudes: initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical skills, empathy, and communication.

• Technical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and Java/Android SDK.

  • Knowledge of software architecture in mobile applications and experience with good design practices, patterns, testing, etc.

  • Basic knowledge of C/C++.

  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Git.

And if you also have the following knowledge, that's a plus:

• Unit testing

• OpenCV

• iOS development with Swift and Objective-C

We are looking for a new member to join our team. Specifically, we need a front-end developer specialized in Android who will get involved in the development of our products, by implementing features and maintaining them, understanding and designing their architecture, and deploying their development.

Integrated into the Product Development team and, depending on the Manager of that area, they will carry out, among others, the following functions:

• Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of features and product, taking into account aspects such as performance, scalability, or security.

• Active participation in the software development cycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing, maintenance...).

• Being an active part of code reviews, product documentation, evaluation and test plans, as well as improving team dynamics and processes.

• Optimization of the product for its robustness, reducing resource usage and improving user experience.

• Collaboration in the technical growth of the team, supervising, supporting, and training other developers.

• Participation in defining the team's strategy and planning, contributing ideas to improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency in achieving its goals.

• Active participation in the strategic definition of the team and the company's technology.
