What we're looking for
Must-have Skills
- 5+ years of Android native Mobile development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
Nice to have
- A full-stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus.
- A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism, even better
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions and decisions, ensuring effective application architecture and programming standards are implemented.
- Design and manage processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management, while collaborating with product teams to align technical and business goals.
- Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving team productivity and ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects.

This is a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)
