Claims Recovery Specialist

We expect the person joining the team to possess the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in recoveries through the SGR agreement and in NON-AGREEMENT recovery processing.
• Experience with Office 365 tools.
• Proactivity in decision-making, customer orientation, and problem-solving.
• Communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Planning capacity, adaptability and flexibility, and stress management.

As a recovery handler for miscellaneous risks (Home and Business), the selected person will be responsible for managing claims that may be recovered or claimed by opposing Companies, following established protocols to ensure that claims are handled in the most effective and efficient way, while providing a customer-focused claims service.

To this end, your main duties will be:

• Review of the claim, tasks to detect the liable party, and launching the recovery process.
• Carrying out the monitoring and control of the file during the different phases of the recovery processing.
• Processing of recoveries through the SGR agreement.
• Management of NON-AGREEMENT recoverable claims.
• Manage the recovery of indemnities from opposing Companies.
• Convey instructions to the provider and ensure their compliance.
• Detect and resolve problems by consulting policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee the consistency and quality of solutions.
• Interrelation with different areas of the team in order to guarantee correct file management.
• Contribute to the team's efforts, participating in projects and tasks, so that the provider offers our customers optimal claims management, which is reflected in the Company's quality results.
• Study established protocols and regulations and propose improvements to them where appropriate.
• Also propose ideas to improve process simplification or any other aspect that adds value.
