Job Requirements
- Basic qualification. High School Diploma or Vocational Training. Specialization in warehousing will be valued.
- At least 5 years as a warehouse worker in industrial environments
- Valid certification for forklift, electric pallet jack, stacker, and front forklift operation.
- Intermediate level knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK, and SAP ERP, MM module.
- We are looking for a person who has a high orientation toward the internal customer (manufacturing), and is organized, orderly, and rigorous in internal work procedures.
- Availability to work weekly morning and afternoon shifts.
The role
Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will have the opportunity to carry out all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or finished products in the warehouse, as well as their supply to or from the production line. Every day, you will be responsible for classifying and organizing materials for storage according to established guidelines. Additionally, you will demonstrate your expertise performing other routine activities in accordance with defined procedures.
The working modality for this position is: On-site.
This position contributes to ABB's Renewable Energies business area, specifically belonging to the San Fernando de Henares production center, in the Warehouse area. Its main task is the supply of manufacturing lines.
Main responsibilities:
This position will be located in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), which belongs to the Renewable Energy business line, within the High Power division, in ABB's Motion business area. This center is a power electronics R&D technological center where photovoltaic power converters are also primarily manufactured.
What you'll do
- Loading and unloading of trucks and internal movement of goods.
- Supply to the manufacturing line.
- Preparation of sales orders and supply of technical assistance.
- Generation of packing lists, delivery notes, and merchandise labels.
- Receipts, labeling, and location of material.
- Carrying out inventories.
