Health and Safety Coordinator (multiple locations in Spain)

We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator, who will carry out the following functions:

• Supervise daily activities during wind farm construction to ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

• Conduct regular on-site inspections, identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.

• Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses specific to the environment.

• Implement control and mitigation measures to reduce risks associated with the operation and maintenance of wind turbines and other wind farm infrastructure.

• Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and contractors.

• Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained in emergency procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.

• Conduct periodic inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and correct unsafe conditions.

• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and develop preventive measures.

• Maintain detailed incident records and report to the relevant authorities when necessary.

• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and drills.

• Act as the primary point of contact in the event of emergencies and coordinate the response with local emergency services.

• Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture + construction health and safety course

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy industry or wind farms.

• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.

• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective training programs.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to make quick and effective decisions in emergency situations.

• Valid driver's license in Spain (mandatory)

Valuable:

• Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) certification

Estamos buscando un/a Coordinador/a de Seguridad y Salud, desarrollarás las siguientes funciones:

• Supervisar las actividades diarias en la construcción del parque eólico para asegurar el cumplimiento de las políticas de seguridad y salud.

• Realizar inspecciones regulares en el sitio, identificar y corregir condiciones inseguras.

• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos y análisis de peligros específicos del entorno.

• Implementar medidas de control y mitigación para reducir riesgos asociados con la operación y mantenimiento de aerogeneradores y otras infraestructuras del parque.

• Desarrollar e impartir programas de capacitación en seguridad y salud para empleados y contratistas.

• Asegurar que todo el personal esté adecuadamente entrenado en procedimientos de emergencia y uso de equipos de protección personal.

• Realizar inspecciones periódicas de las instalaciones y equipos para identificar y corregir condiciones inseguras.

• Investigar accidentes e incidentes laborales, identificar causas raíz y desarrollar medidas preventivas.

• Mantener registros detallados de incidentes y reportar a las autoridades pertinentes cuando sea necesario.

• Desarrollar y coordinar planes de respuesta a emergencias y simulacros.

• Actuar como el principal punto de contacto en caso de emergencias y coordinar la respuesta con los servicios de emergencia locales.

• Colaborar con otros departamentos, contratistas y proveedores para asegurar la alineación con los estándares de seguridad y salud

Requisitos:

• Grado en Ingeniería o Arquitectura + curso de seguridad y salud de obras de de construcción

• Mínimo de 4 años de experiencia en un rol similar, preferiblemente en la industria de energía renovable o parques eólicos.

• Experiencia en la implementación de programas de seguridad y salud ocupacional.

• Habilidad para realizar evaluaciones de riesgo y desarrollar programas de capacitación efectivos.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar en equipo.

• Capacidad para tomar decisiones rápidas y efectivas en situaciones de emergencia.

• Licencia de conducir vigente en España (excluyente)
