About the role

ACCIONA, in its Energy business line, needs to hire a Criminal Compliance and Anti-Corruption Technician for its Madrid Campus.

Job Summary

Implement, adapt and coordinate the Criminal Compliance and Anti-Corruption Model within their area of responsibility, ensuring its alignment with applicable regulations and the corporate values of the ACCIONA Energía Group.

The role involves a high degree of autonomy, exposure to business areas and participation in international projects, operating in a matrix environment and collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Implement and evolve the Compliance Model internationally, ensuring its suitability for regulatory requirements, the corporate framework and business realities.
  • Actively participate in the assessment of operations, projects and strategic decisions from a Compliance perspective, providing risk criteria and proposing viable alternatives.
  • Identify, assess and monitor Compliance risks, ensuring the definition and implementation of mitigation measures.
  • Provide ongoing advice to business areas and corporate functions on ethics, integrity and compliance matters.
  • Manage third-party due diligence processes, as well as review and negotiate Compliance-related contractual clauses.
  • Coordinate responses to external stakeholder requirements (clients, investors, financial institutions, partners, etc.).
  • Draft and keep internal Compliance regulations up to date (policies, procedures, risk and control matrices).
  • Execute and coordinate key Model processes (conflicts of interest, donations, sponsorships, hospitality, among others).
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes adapted to different groups and geographies.
  • Define and monitor Compliance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the Model and its degree of implementation.
  • Prepare executive reporting for Management and contribute to corporate reports and stakeholder requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external Compliance audits, as well as follow-up on action plans.
  • Analyse regulatory developments and trends, promoting the continuous updating of the Model.
  • Contribute to the global coordination of the Model, the definition of priorities, the monitoring of key initiatives, and the preparation of information for governing bodies.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of experience in Compliance or related areas (risk, internal control, audit, legal). Experience in industrial or energy sectors and international environments will be valued.

  • Compliance frameworks and management systems (ISO 37301, UNE 19601, ISO 37001).
  • International regulations (criminal law, anti-corruption, trade sanctions, AML/CFT).
  • Third-party due diligence and risk assessment in business operations.
  • Definition and monitoring of KPIs and Compliance reporting.

Nice to have

  • Experience in managing ethics channels and internal investigations (valued).

Education & certifications

University degree in Law, Business Administration or similar. A postgraduate degree or specialisation in Compliance or related areas, as well as professional certifications (CESCOM, CCEP or others), will be valued.

Languages

Advanced English. Other languages will be valued.
