What we're looking for

  • Student of the Spanish Law degree (having passed more than half of the ECTS credits of the degree at the time for which the internship is requested)
  • Very good academic record.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Advanced level of English
  • No previous experience required

Nice to have

  • Any international experience will be a plus
  • Pursuing a double degree will be highly valued

The role

The summer 2027 internship program is aimed at Spanish Law degree students with a solid academic record who are willing to learn and assist our lawyers in providing legal advice to leading companies in their sector.

As an intern, we want you to see what life as a lawyer at Baker McKenzie is like.

From the start, you will be involved in the day-to-day of a specific department, working closely with our lawyers and with our Spanish and international clients, carrying out research tasks and other daily activities within the department to which you are assigned.

At the beginning of the internship, you will be assigned a Senior lawyer as a tutor, and you will also have the additional support of a Jr. lawyer as a "Buddy" to resolve any simple questions. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to participate in pro-bono activities.

  • Build your network of contacts within the firm;
  • Develop your legal skills;
  • Learn how we work, who our clients are, and what the Firm's structure is like

How you'll work

The internship will have a minimum duration of two months during the summer of 2027 (between May 15 and July 31) with full-time dedication.
