C++ / Python Developer

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
• Primary Language: Solid mastery of C++ focused on performance and parallel processing.
• Secondary Language: Intermediate/advanced level of Python, with practical experience creating wrappers or integrating C++ with Python (pybind11, Boost.Python).
• Technical environment: Daily experience working in Linux/Unix systems, version control with Git, and use of CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Languages: B2 level of English (ability to understand technical documentation and hold meetings).
• Location: Residence in Madrid (or surrounding areas). The flexible hybrid model requires absolute availability to travel to the client's offices whenever the team or project needs require it.

• Previous experience in the financial or banking sector, especially in risk, markets, or calculation engine areas.
• Knowledge of distributed computing infrastructures or Grid Computing (e.g., DataSynapse, Apache Ignite, Symphony).
• Experience working with large volumes of data, complex Databases, or Data Lakes

• Stable project of long duration in a cutting-edge and international technological environment.

• Work model: Flexible hybrid (combining remote work and on-site presence based in Madrid).
• Salary range: 30000- 36000€ (depending on merit and experience provided).

In this role, you will be part of a technical team specialized in the production and optimization of counterparty risk calculation engines. You will work in a high technical demand environment, connecting the calculation power of C++ with the versatility of Python, and ensuring maximum system efficiency and scalability.

• Core Development and Optimization: Participate in the design, development, and evolutionary maintenance of critical risk calculation engines, programmed in C++.
• Integration and Interoperability (Wrappers): Develop and maintain integration components (wrappers) to efficiently connect native C++ libraries with Python environments (using tools such as pybind11 or Boost.Python).
• Performance Optimization: Analyze, profile, and improve existing code to guarantee efficient parallel processing and low latency in intensive computing environments.
• Automation and CI/CD: Manage the development lifecycle within Linux/Unix environments, collaborating on the automation of deployments and testing through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI).
• Collaboration and Technical Support: Work side by side with quantitative analysis (quants) and risk teams to translate mathematical models into highly efficient production code.
