What you'll get

Contract directly with MAPFRE with a permanent contract with MAPFRE.

Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. + Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

During the summer schedule, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Summer period (month of August) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Location: Hervencias Workshop, Ávila

Position: Mechanic, First-Class Skilled Tradesperson.

Contract type: Permanent, directly with MAPFRE

Your main mission will be:

Tasks typical of a first-class mechanic for industrial vehicles.

Disassembly, replacement and repair of electromechanical components of industrial vehicles.

Activities to be carried out with trucks, trailers, buses, agricultural machinery and public works machinery.

Work with diagnostic equipment on all types of industrial vehicles.

Verification of electromechanical components and wheel/axle alignment systems and equipment for industrial vehicles.

Participation in research projects related to industrial vehicles.

Conducting crash tests and practical trials on vehicles, equipment and repair and testing tools.

Collaboration in drafting reports, articles and publications. Creation and delivery of training courses.

Requirements

Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training degree in qualifications related to automotive, or equivalent professional certificate.

Knowledge of industrial vehicle repair processes and new automotive technologies required.

Proficiency in Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge and experience as a trainer required.

Knowledge related to electrified vehicles and knowledge related to auxiliary equipment and truck bodywork recommended.

Driving license B

Availability to travel within Spain or abroad
