The role

We are looking to hire an Industrial Pipefitter to participate in assembly and maintenance work at first-class industrial facilities located in the vicinity of the Cartagena Refinery.
What you'll do
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Interpretation of piping blueprints, sketches, and isometrics.
- Field layout of line routes and piping systems.
- Measurement, marking out, cutting, preparation, and assembly of pipes up to 2 inches.
- Presentation, alignment, and adjustment of pipes and fittings.
- Fabrication, assembly, and adjustment of supports.
- Dimensional and visual verification of the work performed.
- Taking and checking of slopes necessary for the correct operation of the facilities.
- Collaboration in leak tests, inspections, and commissioning.
- Coordination with supervisors, assemblers, and operational personnel.
- Handling, calibration, and basic maintenance of threading machines and experience with threaded pipe.
- Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures established in industrial and petrochemical environments.
