FinCrime Analyst

This role is based out of our Madrid office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles. Relocation and visa support are not available for this position.

We are looking for a FinCrime Analyst to join our FinCrime Operations Department based in Madrid. Do you want to be at the forefront of the fight against financial crime by conducting in-depth investigations and contributing to a passionate team? Then this is the role for you!

• Investigate alerts on suspicious transactions, reviewing and resolving daily screening alerts using internal and external systems and databases;
• Conduct thorough research and risk assessments, preparing clear, evidence-based investigations and case narratives in a SAR-ready format to support timely and accurate suspicious activity reporting;
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and investigations into merchants' compliance risk profiles;
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment in AML, Screening and Fraud Investigations across all regions;
• Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge and best practices, and assisting in onboarding new team members.
• Propose ideas for improvement of our internal processes and workflows;

NB: Contributing to global, impactful and urgent work in AML/Screening/Fraud requires flexibility to rotate workload evenly over the team, sometimes including public holidays and weekends (never more than 5 working days in a week). When this kind of flexibility is required, you will be compensated additionally as per the applicable CBA (i.e. 'overtime').
