Job Description
In the Domestic Transport area of AECOM in Spain, we are looking to expand the Civil Infrastructure discipline by hiring a Civil Engineer or Roads, Canals and Ports Engineer who has collaborated on Data Center design to join our team in Madrid.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of a team that participates in all project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed design, developing solutions for a wide variety of landmark projects in Spain and internationally.
We have a hybrid work model, with the advantages of enjoying good times with your colleagues in our office, and having the flexibility to also work from home.
You will be able to rely on a team made up of experienced engineers, and have all kinds of resources to carry out your duties in the projects you collaborate on, getting to know colleagues not only locally but also within AECOM's international network.
Main responsibilities
- Drafting and developing civil infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
- Actively participating in the design team and even leading it when necessary, collaborating on the definition of construction solutions and process optimization.
- Budget estimation and project cost analysis across its different phases.
- Preparation of documentation for bidding processes, ensuring quality and technical accuracy.
- Planning, management, and supervision of works, ensuring proper economic, technical, and administrative management.
- Leading and coordinating planning and follow-up meetings, fostering effective communication between teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Roads, Canals and Ports Engineering.
- Demonstrable years of experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Fluent English and Spanish (both verbal and written).
- Knowledge of applicable Spanish and international regulations.
- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Istram, BIM is a plus).
- Planning, cost management, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

En el área de Transportes Domestic de AECOM en España buscamos ampliar la disciplina de Infraestructura Civil con la contratación de un/a Ingeniero/a Civil o de Caminos, Canales y Puertos que haya colaborado en diseño de Data Center para incorporarse a nuestro equipo en Madrid.
Como Ingeniero/a Civil, formarás parte de un equipo que participa en todas las fases del proyecto, desde los estudios de viabilidad hasta el diseño detallado, desarrollando soluciones para una amplia variedad de pproyectos emblemáticos en España y a nivel internacional.
