Senior Civil and Structural Engineer

• Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading or significantly participating in medium and large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
  • Solid experience in civil and structural engineering design.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis and calculation software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, CYPE, and other equivalent tools.
  • Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations and technical project control.
  • Minimum English level B2.
  • Knowledge of Eurocodes and applicable structural regulations.

  • Technical leadership and the ability to develop and train other engineers.

Job Offer: Senior Civil and Structural Engineer

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join a major international project in the industrial and energy engineering sector. The selected person will lead the technical development of multidisciplinary projects, participating in the design, calculation, and supervision of civil and structural engineering solutions for large-scale facilities.

We are looking for a profile with a solid track record in civil engineering and structures, experience leading technical teams, and the ability to coordinate engineering disciplines in complex projects, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulations.

• Lead and supervise the development of structural calculations, technical studies, specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Guarantee compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, including Eurocodes and project-specific regulations.
• Review and approve the technical documentation prepared by junior and intermediate engineers.
• Mentor and provide technical support to the rest of the engineering team.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, piping, and architectural disciplines to ensure integrated and coherent solutions.
• Participate in meetings with clients, design reviews, and technical discussions, acting as a technical representative when necessary.
• Manage technical risks and collaborate in resolving incidents during project development.
• Support the technical planning of the project, including effort estimation and workload distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement of the engineering department's procedures, tools, and methodologies.
