🎯 Requirements:

• Education: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Canals and Ports or similar.
• Experience: Essential to have between 7 and 8 years of experience in procurement departments within the construction and infrastructure sector. (Solid experience in procurement for civil engineering projects: roads, railways, urbanization, structures or linear infrastructures).
• High technical knowledge of materials, equipment and civil engineering subcontractors.
• Experience in contractual negotiation and strategic procurement.
• Advanced handling of office tools and procurement ERP.
• Ability to perform technical and economic analysis of offers.
• Languages: English level B2-C1.
• Availability: Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

🛠 Position: Purchasing Engineer - Civil Works

At Aldesa we continue to grow and are looking to incorporate a Procurement Engineer specializing in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with experience in complex construction environments and the ability to manage strategic procurement processes in national and international projects. The selected person will have a key role within the procurement area, participating in the contracting of materials and equipment for civil engineering projects (roads, railways and large infrastructures), ensuring the technical and economic optimization of each operation.

We are looking for a technical profile, with a strategic vision, negotiation skills and real experience in civil engineering projects, accustomed to interacting with production, studies, technical office and legal teams.

📋 Your responsibilities:

• Development, monitoring and updating of Procurement Plans for civil engineering projects.
• Identification of strategic purchases and definition of contracting strategies.
• Monitoring of trends and raw material indices to anticipate cost impacts.

Supplier contracting and management.

• Technical review of project documentation, detecting inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Proposal of technical alternatives and optimization of constructive solutions, coordinating their normative validation and presentation to the Works Directorate.
• Search, evaluation and homologation of suppliers and subcontractors specialized in civil engineering.
• Preparation of RFQ, request and technical-economic analysis of offers.
• Development of technical and commercial comparisons.
• Negotiation of prices, scopes, payment conditions, deadlines and contracts.
• Review and negotiation of contractual clauses together with the legal area.
• Management of associated documentation: quality certificates, guarantees, and technical sheets.
• Monitoring of supplies and control of compliance with contractual deadlines.
• Management of incidents and claims with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participation in site visits and coordination with execution teams when necessary.
• Collaboration with the Studies department in tender processes, offer analysis and contracting of main equipment.
• Technical and contractual support in the review of client contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Continuous coordination with Production, Technical Office and Legal departments to ensure the correct execution of projects.
