What you'll do

Plan, organize and coordinate the operational preparation processes, in accordance with the instructions of the Receiving and Preparation Team Lead, with the aim of ensuring that store orders are prepared on time and in the proper manner, and at the optimal cost.

Processes:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the staff under your responsibility.
  • Supervise the correct preparation of store orders, using the Pick-by-Voice system and SAP EWM management.
  • Ensure the correct advance preparation of the team and the assigned areas for carrying out the Inventory at the Distribution Center.
  • Ensure the correct maintenance of the order-picking aisle layout.
  • Ensure proper attention is given to the inquiries, incidents, and requests of the company's internal departments related to preparation operations.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of LEAN initiatives affecting your area of responsibility. Perform random checks on the correct execution of the standard procedures corresponding to your scope of responsibility.
  • Identify and promote operational and process best practices.

Leadership

  • Develop, support, and motivate the team under your supervision in continuous improvement.
  • Lead team meetings (level 1 team boards).
  • Design, together with Human Resources and in coordination with the Receiving and Preparation Team Lead, the required development plans for the staff under your supervision.
  • Ensure, along with Human Resources, the training of new team members in the Preparation Department.
  • Ensure the proper onboarding of new employees reporting to you.

KPIs / Reporting

  • Carry out periodic monitoring of key performance indicators, in accordance with the objectives of your area of responsibility.
  • Propose new lines of work based on the evolution of the indicators to ensure continuous improvement in your department, through your participation in the Level 1 team panel.

Regulations and compliance

  • Promote horizontal and vertical communication within the company.
  • Ensure compliance with the deadlines established for those actions that require them.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations regarding data protection and access to information.
  • Validate the coordination of previous business activities with assigned external suppliers' employees.
  • Ensure safety and health at your work post and at all other posts within your area of responsibility, making sure that the established procedures and current regulations on occupational hazard prevention are complied with.
