Supply Chain Sustainability Technician

Requirements:

• University degree in related specialties.
• Master's degree or Postgraduate degree in Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Sustainability Technician and/or Corporate Social Responsibility.
• Solid knowledge of sustainability policies and regulations and corporate social responsibility.
• Advanced user level of Excel, ideally a Power BI user.
• Native Spanish level/C2.
• Minimum English level B2.

ALDI and Randstad are joining forces in the search for the best talent. We are currently looking for a technical sustainability profile for the supply chain.

Your day-to-day will be:

• Develop and actively participate in national and international initiatives and projects related to the sustainability of the supply chain for food and non-food products, as well as social impact.
• Ensure the execution and compliance of the Food Waste Plan.
• Coordinate the proper organization of product donation by ALDI to social entities.
• Propose and define initiatives to prevent food waste, monitoring their compliance.
• Identify possible areas for improvement in social matters and drive their implementation.
• Organize annual actions related to social sustainability and food waste, such as the Great Food Collection.
• Report to the Corporate Responsibility department of ALDI International on matters related to ALDI Nord Group's international policies and guidelines.
• Work at a national level to achieve the objectives set by ALDI Nord in relation to supply chains identified as at risk.
• Actively participate as a representative of ALDI Spain in specific working groups of ALDI Nord on particular topics, such as deforestation or food waste.
• Advise, support, and inform other departments regarding defined procedures and established guidelines, both internationally and nationally.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints received from internal and external clients related to sustainability policies in ALDI's supply chain.
• Collaborate directly with external stakeholders: partners, non-governmental organizations, and suppliers.
• Review and validate the content of information related to product sustainability and social impact provided to consumers or other interest groups, through any medium.
• Update knowledge on applicable regulations, as well as trends and developments in the competition, regarding the sustainability of the supply chain for food and non-food products, and social impact.
