Description:

You will be fully responsible for the complete management of a fully automated Distribution Center, thus ensuring the success of logistics operations with the highest standards of efficiency, innovation and quality, fulfilling the company's strategy of being a benchmark in retail distribution and omnichannel, taking the operations of the logistics center to the next level.

What you'll do

In your day-to-day:

  • Develop and ensure weekly/monthly planning, as well as the execution of the operational strategy, ensuring the achievement of defined SLAs.

  • Leadership, motivation and effective coordination of a large logistics team. Ability to develop and evolve teams. 

  • Establish, analyze and report area management indicators and propose improvement actions based on advanced analytics.

  • Identify bottlenecks in operations and facilitate and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives with the aim of maximizing productivity, efficiency and quality of logistics operations.

  • Quick decision-making, adapting to unforeseen events and/or variations and communicating them to the team for effective achievement.

  • Collaborate and establish a constant line of communication with all Supply Chain and business areas.

  • Ensure a high-level strategy in the development and training of teams at all levels with the help of other members of the organization.

  • Coordinate with the DC Maintenance and Engineering areas to ensure the proper functioning and performance of the production facilities.

    • Experience with WMS.

    • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
