The role
What you'll do
Plan, Organize and Coordinate their direct team and external companies, along with the Expedition and Transport processes, the Reverse Logistics processes, and the management of the Optimal Order, ensuring the optimal distribution of goods to the stores, in accordance with the instructions of the Logistics Manager, the established guidelines and processes, and current legality.
Processes:
- Ensure the optimal planning of transport routes, aligned with the National Transport model strategy.
- Ensure and coordinate with the team of Zone Managers and with the Receiving and Preparation Team Lead, the optimal planning of supplies to the stores within the national standard (Optimal Order and BLP).
- Prepare the proposal for the acquisition of trucks, trailers, and machinery for final approval by the Logistics Manager, aligned with the National Transport model strategy.
- Ensure the operation and perfect technical condition of the fleet of trucks and machinery (internal fleet).
- Ensure compliance with transport agreements with external transport companies (SLA) in collaboration with the National Transport Manager.
- Validate monthly invoices for final signature by the Logistics Manager.
- Ensure, drive, and promote the application and maintenance of LEAN initiatives for the processes of the expedition and transport area.
- Ensure official documentary management in coordination with the transport companies and the stores.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines, including the recycling and waste area, trailers, and trucks.
- Ensure the correct management of incidents and complaints that arise as a result of the goods delivery process to stores, along with the active management of communication with the RZs (same as with the management of BLPs).
- Perform time tracking and attendance control of their personnel in charge.
- Ensure the correct flow of the reverse logistics process between the store and the Distribution Center (management of waste, returnable packaging, and pool packaging), as well as the coordination of the return of these wastes and packaging with our suppliers.
Leadership
- Develop, accompany, and motivate the team in charge towards continuous improvement.
- Design, together with Human Resources, and in coordination with the Logistics Manager, the required development plans for the personnel in their charge.
- Ensure with Human Resources the training of new collaborators within their area of responsibility.
- Ensure the proper onboarding of new employees under their supervision.
KPIs / Reporting
- Periodically monitor key performance indicators, according to the objectives of their area of responsibility.
- Propose new lines of work based on the evolution of indicators, to ensure continuous improvement in their department, through their participation in the Level 2 team panel.
