IT Internal Audit Specialist

Main duties and responsibilities

• Execute audit work that has been include in the approved Audit Plan, in accordance with the Audit Methodology, policies, professional standards and budget.
• Participate in discussions with IT management regarding audit observations and issues identified.
• Follow up of issues raised in audits to ensure that all the agreed actions are implemented timely in order to mitigate the original issue that was raised.
• Contribute to continuous auditing initiatives and perform tests with large sets of data using ACL, Arbutus or a similar tool.
• If required, commit to obtain the CISA certification within one year upon joining Allfunds and carry out continuous training to comply with the requirements of IT professional certifications.
• Provide support to other team members as required to uphold the "one team" approach of Internal Audit.
• Set an example and support fair and ethical behaviour in all colleagues. Drive the position and brand of Internal Audit across the organization.
• Bring to the attention of the team relevant control and risk management issues, weaknesses or irregularities in the existence of application of controls.
• Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and "no-surprises" approach in communicating issues to management.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any IT related discipline
• CISA certification (or similar qualification) or a commitment to obtain it within one year from joining Allfunds.

Work Experience & Other Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in auditing technology control environments, data analytics and cyber security.
• Experience in financial services organizations.
• Proficient user with AI tools.
• Experience in integrated audit assignments encompassing the assessment of business and technology controls.
• Experience with highly outsourced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
• Practical understanding of the regulatory environment impacting IT activities.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
