Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon - AniCura Madrid Este

At AniCura Madrid Este, we continue to drive the growth of our surgery service and are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon interested in developing their career in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.

We are looking for a professional with experience or specific training in surgery, especially oriented towards orthopaedics, who wants to continue growing within a hospital with a strong commitment to training and professional development.

What you'll do

  • Performing scheduled and emergency soft tissue surgeries.

  • Participation in the development and growth of the orthopaedics service.

  • Assessment and resolution of traumatological cases.

  • Management of fractures and osteosynthesis procedures according to experience and level of autonomy.

  • Handling surgical consultations.

  • Postoperative reviews and patient follow-up.

  • Participation in multidisciplinary clinical rounds.

  • Handling emergency surgeries when necessary.

  • Close collaboration with the surgical team currently composed of the Service Director, specialist surgeon, and surgery intern.

How you'll work

We offer a position designed to favor professional growth:

  • 3 days per week dedicated to surgical activity.

  • 2 days per week focused on training, development, and clinical mentorship.

  • Participation in soft tissue surgery on-call shifts:
