Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 7-10+ years in design, with 3-5 years in a strategic leadership capacity, ideally in healthcare or veterinary industries.

  • Experience aligning design with veterinary regulations and leading large-scale initiatives like clinic renovations or digital platform rollouts.

  • Mastery of design system tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and a deep understanding of inclusive design for clinical workflows.

  • Native-level Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken) alongside fluent business English.

  • Strong analytical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.

Job title: Construction Project Manager - Mediterranean and Central Eastern Europe

What you'll do

  • Define and evolve the visual and functional design guidelines that ensure quality and consistency across all Mars Veterinary Health Europe projects.

  • Drive cost savings and innovation in design, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency across our network of over 860 clinics.

  • Oversee the entire design process for all projects, from inception to post-project review, ensuring a premium pet, client, and associate experience.

  • Collaborate with senior executives, marketing teams, and external agencies to elevate the design performance and public profile of our real estate offering.

  • Champion sustainability in design, ensuring it is a core principle at the forefront of every project.

This strategic role reports directly to the Director of Construction and is integral to the leadership team's transformational agenda.
