About the role

Therefore, we are looking to bring on board a Small Animal Surgery Specialist to strengthen our surgical team and continue providing the highest quality veterinary medicine.

What you'll do

  • Perform advanced surgeries on referred cases, including soft tissue surgery, traumatology, and orthopedics.

  • Diagnose and design personalized surgical plans, working in coordination with other hospital services and referring veterinarians.

  • Ensure clinical excellence, as well as professional, clear, and empathetic communication with pet owners and fellow veterinarians.

  • Participate in emergency surgical on-call duties, according to the internal schedule.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced training in veterinary surgery: European or American diploma, or completed residency.
    AVEPA accreditation with demonstrable equivalent experience will be valued.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in advanced surgery at veterinary hospitals, preferably referral hospitals.

  • Experience at university hospitals will be especially valued, as well as scientific publications and/or speaking at conferences.

  • High level of Spanish. Knowledge of English will be considered a plus.

  • Candidates with ECVS or ACVS diplomas or completed residencies will be given priority.
