What we're looking for

EDUCATION

Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Automotive, Electromechanics of Vehicles, Maintenance of Self-Propelled Vehicles or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of welding and knowledge of electricity/electronics will be positively valued.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year of practical experience in an automotive electromechanical workshop, working with different types of vehicles.

PERSONAL SKILLS

Dynamism: Proactive person, with initiative and the ability to adapt to different situations.
Creativity and imagination: Ability to contribute innovative ideas and approaches.
Teamwork: High capacity to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and areas.

The role

We are looking for a Crash Test Mechanic to join our Passive Safety Department team at our Santa Oliva (Tarragona) facilities.

You will be a key piece in the vehicle preparation process to perform Passive Safety tests

What you'll do

Installation of test equipment: data acquisition system, emergency brake, connection to propulsion system, etc.
Vehicle compliance with regulations: performing weight protocols, adapting the vehicle to the required height, etc.
Modification of components: assembly/disassembly of interiors, changing mechanical components such as gearbox, engine, driveshaft.
Carrying out planned crash tests with quality and in the appropriate time.
Fabrication of test structures.
